Membership in Friends of the Groves Public Library is open to anyone interested in books and libraries and is formed exclusively for charitable, literary, historic, and educational purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended. Meetings are held monthly except in December and in summer months when authorized by the membership. Dues are paid annually according to several levels of membership with rates set by the Executive Board and approved by the members. Officers are elected annually in November and assume office in January. Membership forms are available at the circulation desk at the Groves Public Library, located at 5600 West Washington, Groves, Texas 77619, or by clicking here. The organization is also supported by community organizations and businesses.
